Our organizational profile
Landfills are complex technical structures. In particular, dealing with the landfill gas produced requires a great deal of experience and engineering expertise. Climate protection and high safety standards go hand in hand and have formed the basis of our business for over 40 years.
LAMBDA sees itself as asolution provider and technical service provider. We are specialized in tailor-made solutions for landfills - from the development, design, manufacture, delivery and maintenance of turnkey systems to technical management. We also offer customers from the municipal waste disposal sector, industry and the energy sector all relevant services relating to landfill aftercare.
However, emissions of climate-damaging methane do not only come from landfills, but also from other sources. We have therefore set ourselves the task of using our technologies and solutions to reduce climate-damaging methane emissions in the natural gas transportation and distribution network and to promote the extraction and conversion of mine gases into electricity.

LAMBDA is a subsidiary of Abfallentsorgungs-Gesellschaft Ruhrgebiet (AGR), a municipal company owned by the Regionalverband Ruhrgebiet (RVR). As part of this strong association, our services are at the interface between municipal responsibility, industrial practice and technological development.
LAMBDA is a shareholder in Minegas GmbH. Minegas GmbH develops and operates mine gas plants in disused mines in the Ruhr region.
