0 LAMBDA’s Mission Statement
LAMBDA supplies and operates “environmental protection facilities,” acts as a municipal service provider, and is guided by the principles of ecology, economy, and sustainability. As a wholly owned subsidiary of AGR Abfallentsorgungs-Gesellschaft Ruhrgebiet mbH, we are committed to AGR’s goals and use AGR’s management statement as the foundation for our daily operations.
1 LAMBDA as Part of AGR
LAMBDA is a service provider and technology supplier
- for active and closed landfills. In doing so, we make an important contribution to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the landscape
- for the treatment of landfill, mine, and other gases. A key focus here is energy generation in the form of electricity and heat from gaseous energy sources and the associated reduction in the use of fossil fuels
- for the treatment of leachate from landfills
- for small-scale photovoltaic and wind power systems at landfills
Through our services and products, we actively contribute to climate protection and the generation of energy from gaseous (renewable) energy sources.
Through our activities, we also see ourselves as a source of expertise within the municipal network.

3 Markets
The careful interplay of service and equipment delivery results in solutions that comply with legal requirements and economic demands while meeting the needs of our customers.
Value creation in the area of equipment delivery generally takes place at our Herten location. Here, we secure jobs at LAMBDA and, whenever possible, with regional suppliers from the Ruhr region.
There is significant cross-selling potential between equipment delivery and service for LAMBDA products and services (LAMBDA System Cycle). Against this backdrop, we secure a strong long-term position in the market.
4 Guiding Principles for Our Customer and Supplier Relationships
LAMBDA is a competent and fair business partner. We maintain long-term business relationships with customers and suppliers and stand for quality in our products and customer service. Maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships are at the forefront of our actions.
We therefore consistently align our daily actions, the fulfillment of our tasks, and our decisions with the achievement of our corporate goals while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
We act in accordance with the Code of Conduct and the Public Corporate Governance Code (PCGK) of the AGR Group.
5 Innovations
LAMBDA is known in the market for its innovative products and services. This prominent market position is secured through a consistent focus on identifying product innovations. The market potential and profit margins of new and further-developed products and services from LAMBDA, as well as their long-term viability and sustainability, form the basis of our actions.
6 Equipment and Information Security
We ensure a high level of security for our facilities. This applies to both the delivery of facilities and the services provided by LAMBDA. This is ensured, among other things, by our responsible and well-trained employees, as well as a clearly defined and communicated understanding of security. This is our ongoing commitment and a core competency within the company.
Information security is the maintenance of the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of information. To ensure this, LAMBDA utilizes the structures of the AGR Group’s Information Security Management System (ISMS). In addition, state-of-the-art safety technology in the planning of facilities and processes, as well as in the execution of all activities and the selection of work equipment, forms the basis for ensuring high technical standards in occupational and facility safety.
7 Responsibility and Scope
This statement applies to all employees of LAMBDA Gesellschaft für Klimaschutz und regenerative Energien mbH. All employees are obligated to contribute to the achievement of our corporate goals. To achieve these goals, management provides the necessary resources.
