LAMBDA RTO
RTO - Regenerative Thermal Oxidation
LAMBDA's RTO systems ensure reliable and autothermal treatment of landfill gases with methane contents from around 1 % by volume. These systems correspond to the state of the art in accordance with VDI 3899 Sheet 1 and therefore fully meet the requirements for the thermal treatment of landfill lean gases.
Why customers rely on RTO systems from LAMBDA
The RTO systems are available in three standardized performance classes up to a firing capacity of 500 kW. During the development of the RTO systems, special focus was placed on the specific requirements for operation with landfill gas. In conjunction with a LAMBDA gas conveying station, typical operating modes can be implemented during in-situ stabilization with a high degree of automation and high availability.
Efficient use of the waste heat generated is possible with the optional "Therm" heat extraction module if a heat sink is available.
The Lambda RTO is characterized by the following features:
- Future-proof: Autothermal operation even with very low methane content in the landfill raw gas.
- Engineering: LAMBDA's RTO systems have been developed for typical landfill applications and differ from conventional systems for exhaust air treatment.
- Operating costs: Optimized system design for low pressure losses and low power consumption.
- Plant safety: Safety concept for the entire plant that has been tested by experts and is ready for acceptance.
- Future-proof treatment of very low calorific value gases from landfill stabilization measures
